Evening Work (xiv)

The fourteenth in the evening series and the smallest Vasco has kept.

Poured in a single evening from offcuts left over from the Fairlead casting, which means the material has now passed through three lives: the original port fitting, the large sculpture, and this. Vasco keeps no record of which scrap goes where and considers the lineage uninteresting, though he does not dispute it.
